today was rough. but thank you to all who got me through it. im ready for a new day.

i was gunna blog all about my bday but...dont feel like it. so deal. hmf. but thank you to my roomies for an awesome weekend. das all i got bout dat.

although i would like to say, to the general public, i am absolutely and irrevocably in love with KATIE KEITH!!!! she did this awesome scavenger hunt for me on my bday. =] she hid clues in balloons (i had to pop them to get each clue.) each clue was the location of the next balloon. and she went to all my fave places on campus and some!! including rollercoaster road, wendys, friends, bojangles, etc...21 balloons.
my darling, twas truly special. =]

aaaaaaaand leah nicole burton comes to clemson this fridayyyyy!!!!!! i dont think you understand how excited i am to be graced with her presence. it sucks that JMU wisks her away for most of the year. phooey. mi amour come soooooon. ive missed you so.

and now i would like us all to prepare for the coming season.

We are a great culture. We (all 209384092508720 of us) get together for holidays. for birthdays. and for PACQUIAO fights!

Dad and Mom came up to visit me yesterday. Dad reminded me that they were all getting together to watch the fight later that night so they had to be back. of course.

twas good to see my parents. Dad read my Irene's 21! sign me! poster and decided to write on it too. "Thanks God you look and smell sober the day after. Happy Birthday!-Dad"

prior to that mom tried to see if we had soda in the fridge...nope!

but we had some on the counter! next to...
we also had jello shots! in an easy access ketchup/ mustard bottle. simply squeeze into your mouth!...take that as you want it. =P

so lucky me turned 21 this weekend!! =] but a lot happened so i dunno if i wanna divulge it all. too much thinking. but i will show a brief montage of pictures in my next post. and give you some highlights. for now...it's recovery time.

says melanie upon waking up this beautiful high of 76 day morning! a recap shall we? on thursday night went to see benjy davis project (havent uploaded pics yet) at the handlebar in greenville with katie keith, taylor, kate, and anna louise. sp? i ended up getting big fat X's. ironic.
concert was pretty fun, i fell in love with Andrew Hoover though. He opened for Benjy. i love his voice and chill acoustic melodies. he's also only 22. ey ey! actually the band and andrew were goin downtown after the concert and invited us to come along. sadly though we had to head back to clemson. to taylor and anna's dismay. their argument for staying though was mighty amusing ;]
on friday went to mock turtle soup with katie's roomate meredith. pretty funny stuff! next time gunna pregame WHILE watching it. yeaha! then had a chill early night in harts cove, where i spent the night. again. i read a georgia nicholson book while katie did work. we were like an old married couple. katie did the work...and i read a book. haha.
saturday i borrowed katie's dress which i rather love and dont intend to return. jk! then went to tailgate at like 1. and check it out, me and katie played the most epic game of pong ever. i was kinda worried cuz at first i wasnt making any and the wind was against us, yes i just played that card. but then one time when i got a rollback i hit it off the side of the house and i thought to myself. hey that could so work i should try that next time. and so i did. the next time i got a rollback i hit against the side of the house and it went in!! and then katie made a cup and i made the last one. ::brushes shoulder off:: well done katie well done. we were ridic.

eventually 7 o clock rolled around and i left katie and orange clad mr keith to meet my roomies at TD's to watch the game. (which we won, yeaha tigers! thank you to katie for wearing your lucky shirt and to mr keith for taking the orange off!) made friends with the bartender dale who attended to my every need and bought back most of my bill. =] yay.
we eventually got in the car to head home, and lana did some pretty awesome dancing in the car. and shots came on and it was just a crazy bout of dancing all around. well except for justinian. aka justin. upon arriving at the apartment lana whips out a humungous water balloon slingshot. after she drops half the water balloons and they go rolling about we attempted to fling one. fail haha. so with no more balloons left we head inside...where i had a kourtney kardashian moment.

i'm in TD's trick!!! and we ordered pizza. ...haha and then someone knocked on the door. lana runs out to the peephole then proclaims "i don't know him! i dont know this guy! he's got a visor and a pen!" then runs away. and we were like uh the pizza guy? so as molly got the pizza lana made her foghorn noise and he prolly thought we were crazy.

then as we were munching on pizza and listening to lana ramble on molly got a phone call from her friend danielle. so the next thing we know, we're at the summit chilling with some really cool black people! no lie. they were fun. haha i hope they remember meeting me. and check out molly's sexy bones! aha oh molly "i think i should take my clothes off!"


haha they took out there smoke detector....now why would they wanna do that?!?!...
molly let me wear her hat. i was so honored.

oh oh! molly got me a captains band for next weekend!!! i cant wait. =D

no lie. i was not living before i frolicked about in a onesie. (a kid's extra large one, the adult ones were ugly) it's a good investment. there is a direct correlation btw the amount of time spent in a onesie and happiness.
and that's all i have to say about that.
