all 2.5 of you. i apologize that i have been way too busy to keep up with this thing. i know you're all dying to know about each time i breathed, blinked, or ate.

i will try to pick this up again. unfortunately i am too lazy to recap all that i have been up to since my last post. those of you who happen to casually stalk me on facebook on an hour to hour basis though should have some idea. except leah. leah nicole burton you are banished from stalking me until your paper is finished.

i finally cleaned up my room, opened the blinds, and alas the sun peered brightly into my room and gazed upon my clean floor.
so i rewarded myself with my long awaited wendy's jr bacon cheeseburgers
melanie's not as excited as i am. prolly cuz she just woke up from a nap. morning sunshine!
yesterday i walked around with my camera for a bit. didnt get much. but here are some random snippets. i have yet to get my tripod to campus so i can really do work.

dropped by the farmer's market on campus (tuesdays from 11-2 on the lawn behing the union). totally bypassed the veggies and went straight to lollipops. suckin too hard on your lollipop!
these cats were advertising the farmers market on library bridge. they called me cultured. haha cuz i was wearing a dublin jacket and had a norway hat on.
i chilled at the fountains for a little bit. did some reflecting at our dear reflection pond.
fall has set in

Blue lights. But they’re not for me. They make my heart skip a beat even seconds after their glow passes. My car finds the highway and grabs the road with desperate hands. Liquid emotion couples with a total disregard for the speed limit and my vision blurs. I glance down at the dash and watch the meter spring forth, paralleled only by the rising level of the stereo’s volume. The darkness keeps coming at me as I am wrapped up in the music’s embrace, serenaded by the emotions it stirs up in me. A text. From worried roommates. Im too caught up in the rush to notice. Then another text. This time from an old flame. It too goes unnoticed. Before I know it I’m in two places at once, and the moment passes as quickly as it came. I pull the reigns and point my steed home. I long to feel something other than that which caused me to journey, so again I push the gas and keep a steady pace, surprised that no blue lights came to seek me out. But as the car shakes reality grips me and I cast away the robe of naïve invincibility. I notice the vibrations of missed texts. And am set back by one of them. What compels you to think of me sir? Another text. A new one. From someone I should’ve seen first. Rather than test fate. Oh well. The damage is done. And I survived. The stupidity of my actions sets in but I am unmoved and indifferent, a stoic expression set on my face. One stop before home, a gas station. I settle for a lighter and kicks. Smoke two at a lone table surrounded by fountains, my breath nearly as thick as the smoke as I exhale. So cold. Yet I don’t shiver. The lamp lights flicker on and off as I stare long and hard at some random hole in the table, my thoughts anywhere but there. Then the stars catch my attention, and point me home. To a warm bed. Where I lie awake. Still.

especially if this pup is gunna be droppin bombs all throughout the process. his farts are rank!

however...my torres spain jersey came in! so ready for fifa world cup 2010!

also, we've been enjoying my madre's food this week...yum=]
the beans are awesome, sauteed in garlic and butter. yummy. and steak of some sort. soy sauce is involved somewhere...
and cheesecake cupcakes! yum. (in the next few days im putting the recipe up here)
delicioso. also. trying to eat healthier. and get back to the gym. and el lib. and the chapel. and...well basically i am reorganizing my life, literally and figuratively...i have a lot of work to do.
for example im trying to throw out what i dont need in my room and in the process am organizing my clothes...which are currently all over the floor...it looks like hiroshima hit. im almost certain that if copper went in there right now he'd get lost.

he's already lost several toys in the mess.

also, there was a siting of hair boy today. i feel comfortable enough to blog about this because...i have no idea who he is! but he is tall, dark, and handsome...and has phenomenal hair. i cant even describe. it's just perfect. and every once a while i see him on campus. and i remember that God's creations truly are beautiful haha.

so today melissa showed me this:

tuesday night was pancake night for the freshies! we went to geer...except that the basement/kitchen looked sketch. i was a little scared for my life at first. met some pretty cool guys from one of the guys small groups tho! david, ian, bruce, and taylor! and some nice fellah who lived in geer lent us his measuring cup.

and while brittany and melanie went to round up some boys in the dorm, a drug bust totally went down! hahaha.

well after pancake night i returned to my study tent. it is rather magnificent in theory...not so much in appearance...haha.
i ended up taking a nap from 12-3AM. but when i awoke i couldnt study because the study tent just wasnt cutting it. i kept wanting to yank the sheets down and wrap myself up in a slumbery burrito.

so i ended up goin to el lib. and watched the sunrise from cooper...
